Kids, Coins, Cuts was written in response to the collapse of the charity Kids Company in 2015. It was commissioned for broadcast by The Space for the programme We Belong Here, which was first aired as a BBC iPlayer series in 2016, and featured poets Joelle Taylor, Hollie McNish, Sabrina Mahfouz, Selena Godden, Jack Underwood and Raymond Antrobus.
