My name is Madi, and I’m a writer and performer.

My work includes creative commissions, branded content and copywriting, and performances for organisations such as BBC iPlayer, Nationwide, The Guardian, The Natural History Museum and The Old Vic. I’m an alumnus of the Soho Theatre’s Comedy Lab, and a former Roundhouse Poetry Slam Champion.

I recently completed a poetry -soundscape collaboration project for UCL Culture called The Secret Life of Ponds, supported by Arts Council England. You can listen to the piece here.

I’m from London via Northumberland, and wear a lot of wool. In 2016, I was awarded Temp of the Year by my recruitment agency.
